Revaluation Notice – Posted 4/7/25

A revaluation of property assessments (Market Update) in the Town of Lomira shall occur for the 2025 assessment year. Revaluation notices are expected to be sent to property owners spring 2025. Please also notice that the Assessor has certain statutory authority to enter land as described in Wis. Stat. §§ 943.13 and 943.15.

Notice to Control Noxious Weeds – Posted 4/7/25

Notice is hereby given to each and every person who owns, occupies, or controls land in the Town of Lomira, County of Dodge, State of Wisconsin to destroy all noxious weeds on such property before the weed plants bloom, bear seed or spread to adjoining property. Noxious weeds include the following: Canada thistle, leafy spurge and field bindweed (creeping Jenny) and any other weeds that have been declared noxious by the town board or county board by resolution or ordinance.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Sec. 70.45 of Wis. Statutes, the assessment roll for the year 2025 will be open for examination on June 10, 2025 from 8:30 am-12:30 pm and from 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm at the Lomira Town Hall, N10479 County Rd. AY, Lomira, WI.  Appointments are recommended. Call 920-517-1593 to reserve a specific time. Notice of Meeting to Adjourn Board of Review to a Later Date
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Review for the Town of Lomira, Dodge County, Wisconsin will meet on May 14, 2025 at 6:45 pm at the Lomira Town Hall, N10479 County Rd AY, Lomira, WI for the purpose of calling the Board of Review into session during the 45 day period beginning on the 4th Monday of April, pursuant to Wis. Stat.§ 70.47(1).  The Board of Review will be adjourned until July 17, 2025 from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm.  Please contact the Town Clerk at 920-583-4011 with further questions or to schedule an appointment.

Tree Trimming Along Electrical Power Lines – Posted 3/12/25

WE Energies has contracted with Asplundh to trim trees and selectively spray brush along electrical power lines in the Town of Lomira in the coming weeks to provide access to safe and reliable energy. Please be aware that Asplundh trucks and equipment will be parked in and along the road right of way, especially in the eastern half of the township.
