Please take notice that the Town of Lomira enacted Ordinance No. 2026-02 – Amendment to Chapter 7 – Driveway Ordinance at their regular monthly meeting on May 12, 2026. This ordinance has been adopted to change the conditions under which concrete driveways can be extended to the roadway. The ordinance is effective upon posting.

Notice is hereby given to each and every person who owns, occupies, or controls land in the Town of Lomira, County of Dodge, State of Wisconsin to destroy all noxious weeds on such property before the weed plants bloom, bear seed or spread to adjoining property. Noxious weeds include the following: Canada thistle, leafy spurge and field bindweed (creeping Jenny) and any other weeds that have been declared noxious by the town board or county board by resolution or ordinance. 

Destroy means the complete killing of weeds or the killing of weed plants above the surface of the ground by use of chemicals, cutting, tillage, cropping system, pasturing livestock or any or all of these in effective combination, at such time and in such manner as will effectually prevent such plants from maturing to the bloom or flower stage.
