Notice to Control Noxious Weeds

Notice is hereby given to each and every person who owns, occupies, or controls land in the Town of Lomira, County of Dodge, State of Wisconsin to destroy all noxious weeds on such property before the weed plants bloom, bear seed or spread to adjoining property. Noxious weeds include the following: Canada thistle, leafy spurge and field bindweed (creeping Jenny) and any other weeds that have been declared noxious by the town board or county board by resolution or ordinance. 

Destroy means the complete killing of weeds or the killing of weed plants above the surface of the ground by use of chemicals, cutting, tillage, cropping system, pasturing livestock or any or all of these in effective combination, at such time and in such manner as will effectually prevent such plants from maturing to the bloom or flower stage.

Notice of Open Book

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Sec. 70.45 of Wis. Statutes, the assessment roll for the year 2026 will be open for examination on April 15, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Lomira Town Hall, N10479 County Rd. AY, Lomira, WI.  Open Book will be held virtually by contacting the assessor, Jodi Paulson, at any time before the end of Open Book by phone or email. Email is preferred. Notice is hereby given that the Board of Review for the Town of Lomira, Dodge County, Wisconsin shall hold its first meeting on May 12, 2026 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Lomira Town Hall, N10479 County Rd AY, Lomira, WI.  The detailed notice is posted at the Lomira Town Hall and by clicking on the link above. Please contact the Town Clerk at 920-583-4011at least 48 hours before Board of Review begins to give notice of your intent to file a formal appeal.

Notice of Ordinance Adoption

Please take notice that the Town of Lomira enacted Ordinance No. 2026-01 - Road Use at their regular monthly meeting on March 10, 2026. This ordinance has been adopted to protect town roads from extraordinary damage caused by heavy commercial hauling and to establish uniform requirements for road use permits. The ordinance is effective upon posting.
